Injury Updates

The Robins have had poor luck with injuries this season with a some senior players all out on the sidelines. However, there is a positive update on some of those who are currently out. We sat down with Marc Nash and received an update for those players on the treatment table.

Adam Forster
Club captain ‘Fozzy’ hasn’t featured for North Shields since 18th April where he lifted the EBAC Northern League trophy. The midfielder has made 305 appearances and Marc Nash is hoping that Adam will be back training in the middle of January but wouldn’t expect him to be available for selection until middle of February.

Anthony Myers
Anth Myers went off injured on 5th November against Ossett United and he is still waiting for a scan on his knee. The club has everything crossed.

Brad Hird
Hird last kicked a football on Wednesday 19th October against Dunston where again he picked up an injury to his knee. Brad has a scan booked in to determine next step.

Lewis Brannen
Lewis has struggled to shake off his injury and has only played 10 times for the club. He was set to play on loan at Bedlington after his return for us in senior cup against Newcastle University. Unfortunately he hasn’t played as yet.

Jack Walker
After featuring in the Boxing Day clash with Shildon where Jack unfortunately received a black eye is on the treatment table and his recovery is determined with how quick it heals. No major damage so just needs swelling to go down.

Cameron Cunningham
Has featured from the bench in the last few weeks after last starting a game on 15th October. Cam is physically fit but doesn’t train due to work commitments so severely lacking general fitness and sharpness.
