North Shields FC will learn of their league schedule on Saturday 22nd June.

Between the Ebac Northern League and the English Football Association, a series of important dates outlining the 2024/25 season have been confirmed.

Just 20 days to go until football returns for Brian Smith’s Robins, fans may be eager to pencil a number of important dates into their diaries.

From Fixture Release Day, to the Emirates FA Cup, here’s our complete guide to the 2024/25 season.

Northern League Division One

Perhaps the most important part of any clubs’ season, the new league campaign is due to kick-off on Saturday 27th July.

The Robins will finally be privy to who will first grace the hallowed turf of The Daren Persson Stadium on Saturday 22nd June, when the complete fixture list for 2024/25 will be officially revealed.

This year’s iteration of the competition will feature 42 matches for each side as opposed to the usual 38, with the division extended to 22 teams with the addition of Marske United, Kendal Town who have been placed into the league with welcome addition of Blyth Town who are promoted as Champions, Easington Colliery who won the Playoffs as well as Newcastle Blue Star.

Emirates FA Cup

The draw for the Emirates FA Cup is due to be made on Friday 5th July, the afternoon of Redcar Athletic’s first pre-season bout against Redcar Town.

The competition begins at the Extra-Preliminary Round stage on Saturday 3rd August, with the Steelmen due to find out if, and when, they will enter the competition at the end of this month.

Further round dates will be as follows.

• Preliminary Round: Saturday 17th August
• First Round Qualifying: Saturday 31st August
• Second Round Qualifying: Saturday 14th September
• Third Round Qualifying: Saturday 28th September
• Fourth Round Qualifying: Saturday 12th October
• First Round Proper: Saturday 2nd November

Isuzu FA Vase

Much like the Emirates FA Cup, the draw for the Isuzu FA Vase will be revealed on Friday 5th July.

The qualifying stage of the competition is due to begin towards the end of August, on Saturday 24th, whilst the First Round Proper will take place on Saturday 19th October.
