North Shields FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Lucas Woolley as the club’s new Media Assistant ahead of an exciting 2026/27 campaign.
Lucas, a second-year media student at the University of Sunderland, joins the Robins’ media team to support matchday coverage, digital content creation, and media operations at the Daren Persson Stadium.
His addition comes at an exciting time for the club following today’s dramatic FA Vase victory, further strengthening North Shields FC’s commitment to delivering high-quality matchday coverage and digital output for supporters.
Speaking on the appointment, Head of Media Sean Mulligan said: “We are thrilled to welcome Lucas to the media team at North Shields FC. His energy, background, and passion for sports media make him a fantastic fit for what we are building here at Silkeys Lane. Providing talented local students with hands-on experience in non-league football is something we pride ourselves on, and we look forward to working alongside Lucas throughout the season.”
Lucas will immediately take up responsibilities across social media operations and much more.
